Some duty stations stay with you longer than the ship did. Subic Bay and Cubi Point closed in 1992 and Roosevelt Roads in 2004, but the men who served there still ask for the patch. Rota, Yokosuka, Sasebo, Naples and Bahrain are still running and still turning out new veterans every year.
This collection covers the overseas bases, naval stations and support activities from Guantanamo Bay to Diego Garcia, plus a few Army posts along the way, like the Imjin Scouts on the Korean DMZ.
