Description
Four major command patches from the Cold War Air Force: Strategic Air Command, Tactical Air Command, Military Airlift Command and Air Defense Command.
For most of the Cold War these commands carried the Air Force mission: SAC's bombers and missiles, TAC's fighters, MAC's airlifters and ADC's interceptors defending the United States. SAC, TAC and MAC were all inactivated in 1992.
