Description

Embroidered patch with a 7TH RANGER BN scroll over the winged skull, crossbones and dice design of the 7th Ranger Infantry Company (Airborne) of the Korean War era. The design is often credited to a 7th Ranger Battalion, which was still only in planning when World War II ended. The company was activated at Fort Benning, Georgia, on 20 November 1950 and stayed there supplying replacements to the Ranger companies fighting in Korea until it was inactivated on 5 November 1951.
