Description
USS Ingraham a Oliver Hazard Perry class guided missile frigate was in incident on 6 Jan. 2008 with five Iranian speed boats acting in threatening manner coming within 180 m of the Ingraham and dropping two white boxes. A transmission from the boats stated, "I am coming to you. You will explode after few minutes." At that point, the speed boats turn away sharply and left the area. No further incidents were reported.
