Description
RTC San Diego was established in 1923 and was the premier base for training new new recruits and basic training until 1997 when the base closed. Many of the building are now designated Historic Landmarks.

Who can forget boot camp? Although now closed the RTC and NTC San Diego provided valuable training for thousands of sailors. Having these patches fills a void since the base closed.
