6933d Electronic Security Squadron Patch

6933 ESS was part of Signals Intelligence, initially designated as the 6933 Radio Group Mobile. Part of its significant mission was during the Cold War, when it established the Karamursel Air Station outside the village of Karamursel, on the Sea of Marmara Turkey.
