Description

The 107th Fighter Squadron "Red Devils" flew A-10C Thunderbolt IIs for the Michigan Air National Guard out of Selfridge ANGB — and the horns on this patch aren't for show.

The 107th FS is part of the 127th Wing at Selfridge Air National Guard Base northeast of Detroit. They operated A-10Cs and deployed for OIF and OEF rotations, flying close air support over some of the most contested terrain of the post-9/11 wars. The A-10C upgrade over the original Warthog brought precision-guided munitions capability, a new glass cockpit, and expanded targeting — but the gun and the low-altitude aggression that defined CAS never changed. Michigan ANG pilots flying the Red Devils patch brought that attitude with them every sortie.

If you flew with the 107th, maintained jets at Selfridge, or worked alongside Michigan Guard A-10Cs in any theater, this patch goes on the wall. The Red Devils name is earned — the unit flies like it.

The 107th Fighter Squadron Red Devils patch is the kind of collector's piece that people who flew the A-10C recognize immediately. The Michigan state silhouette on the design makes it unmistakable.

This embroidered patch measures 3.5 inches wide by 4 inches tall in a black shield shape with a red merrowed border. Two white devil horns flank "A-10C" in red letters at the top. The center runs a bold silver and white lightning bolt diagonally across a red A-10 Warthog silhouette overlaid on the outline of the state of Michigan in red. "Red Devils" appears in white cursive lettering at the lower right — the kind of patch that tells you exactly which unit made the gun run.
